Another 1950's Infants and Primary school has been replaced with a new purpose built school by Main Contractor Wates Construction Ltd. The main brief was for the low level roofs to a have a " green roof " with sedum covering laid over a non-PVC single ply membrane and for the high level roofs to have an exposed green colour finish non-PVC single ply membrane. The membrane chosen was IPS Rubberfuse TPO membrane, in Copper Green colour, mechanically fixed over 120mm thick Kingspan TR 26 insulation and Corus D35 & D46 metal decking.

Rubberfuse approved roofing contractor Ashgate Roofing Systems Ltd installed the project. Both Ashgate and IPS are very pleased to have been chosen by Wates as their flat roofing partner, this is now Ashgate’s fifth major project with Wates Construction.
