When the Edith Cavell School in North London was converted into apartments by Columbia Design and Build, IPS Rubberfuse roofing membrane was applied to both the roof and patio areas over a two-year period.

Combining high performance with reduced environmental impact, IPS Rubberfuse was chosen for its combination of green credentials and technical delivery.

The system has no volatile content whatever to affect the ozone layer, is completely recyclable and contains no plasticisers or chlorine.  This is a significant contrast to PVC and some other synthetic products.

Rubberfuse characteristics include exceptional strength and elongation, total weldability and excellent hazard resistance.  The system can be used equally effectively on new and existing roofs.
