Airbus Hangar, North Wales
A demanding project to refurbish a second world war aircraft hangar which was originally constructed from 2 metre wide, 10mm thick steel bands that were welded to the roof supports. Over the many years the steelwork has deteriorated and many attempts to coat the roof have been tried with little success.
A fully adhered Rubberfuse system was employed to cover the entirity of both hangar roofs with Rubberfuse SLM trims to the perimeter. Some 14,000m² in total. |
