Integrated Polymer Systems UK Limited (IPS) as a part of the continued company development process committed to implement the process to achieve ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001(Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety) certification.
Over a period of 17 months an Integrated Management System (IMS) was developed, implemented, reviewed and audited through to the certification standards being achieved. Although achievable in a shorter time frame IPS took the decision to hold their Annual Management Review before seeking certification thus ensuring their procedures and documentation were truly established and fully compliant with all three standards.
The audit for the standards certification was undertaken by a UKAS accredited auditor from AFAQ-EAQA Limited over a 4 day period in October 2010.
As of Tuesday 16th November 2010 we were awarded:
ISO 9001:2008
ISO 14001:2004
BS OHSAS 18001:2007
All at IPS are delighted with the outcome of the audit and have embraced the required changes and are fully committed to maintaining the three standards.
