Span/load tables
The span tables below have been created in accordance with EN 14509 and have been calculated by the SCI. The values are based on a 0.7mm internal liner and a 1.6mm minimum purlin thickness and a maximum permitted roof cladding deflection of Span/200.

Thermal performance
The Envirodec C System complies with the conservation of fuel and power sections of the Building Regulations for England and Wales (Part L2) and Scotland (Technical Handbook Section 6 Energy). The construction of the panel offers highly consistent insulation performance, and the site-formed junctions provide a practical and effective
Fire safety
The Envirodec C System is approved by the LPCB, and achieves a Grade F.AA rating in accordance with BS 476-3, which tests for external surface spread of flame and fire penetration (AA is the best result achievable). The internal surface of the panel complies with Class 'O' in accordance with the Building Regulations when tested to BS 476 Parts 6 & 7.
Acoustic performance
The acoustic performance of the Envirodec C System has been predicted using a computer program developed by the Department of Applied Acoustics, University of Salford, under a research contract funded by the Metal Cladding and Roofing Manufacturers Association (MCRMA). The figures are based on an 80mm panel.
Water penetration
The standard TPO membrane used in the Envirodec C System carries a British Board of Agrément (BBA) certificate for 25 years.
Air tightness
In order to comply with Building Regulations part L2, the completed building must show a level of air permeability of less than 10m3/h/m2 at 50 Pa when site tested. Due to the excellent air tightness of the Envirodec C System, the product will contribute favourably to the as-built performance of the building. In fact, in laboratory tests, the sealed panel shows air leakage as low as 0.025m3/h/m2 at 50 Pa. In practical terms, therefore, for a typical metal-framed building the site-tested air permeability of the finished envelope can be in the region of 3-5m3/h/m2 Whilst ensuring that all internal flashings are fully sealed to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of the seal, especially at corners of sheets such as at roof-wall junctions and at all penetrations of pipes, ducts, etc.
Environmental credentials
The insulation used within the Envirodec C System has a low GWP blowing agent (<5)and is HFC, HCFC and CFC free helping to achieve the high BREEAM sustainability ratings. Insulation used has a low GWP blowing agent (< 5) and is HFC, HCFC and CFC free All steel elements are 100% recyclable back into new steel products, without loss of quality. The insulation and membrane can be separated using existing scrap shredding technology, after which the materials can be recovered or recycled.
Warranties
The Envirodec C system is available with an independent labour & material warranty. As long as the panels are supplied to an approved specification, and fitted by an IPS rubberfuse approved installers, the product is eligible for up to a 30 year material and labour warranty. Terms and conditions apply.
