SINTOFOIL MEMBRANE WELDED FIELD SEAM TECHNOLOGY

The Sintofoil membrane is weldable: no solvent-based products are involved in the membrane assembly process. There is no decrease of membrane properties due to accelerated aging as encountered with some other materials. Furthermore, the temperature range over which reliable seams can be produced is much broader than for other synthetic materials.

SUPERDECK

Manufactured in partnership with Corus, Superdeck is a three layer composite panel comprising a one metre cover 40mm deep steel deck, a continuously injected foam insulation core and on the outer face, a single ply Rubberfuse TPO flat roofing membrane.

The technology enables a complete insulated roof system to comply with part L2 (England & Wales) and part J (Scotland) to be quickly installed in one operation. Standard roofing techniques are all that’s required to achieve a top quality finished roof system.

IPS Rubberfuse has taken the necessary step to offer a product line which meets the industry standards from membrane manufacturing stage through systems installation.

Quality Control

IPS Rubberfuse's manufacturers, Imper Italia, have been awarded awarded the ISO 9001 label for the design and sale of TPO/FPA synthetic waterproofing membranes issued by Bureau Veritas Quality International.

Training And Field Technical Services

To provide detailed information on IPS Rubberfuse technology to contractors, technical seminars - including hands-on sessions - are organised at the Leyburn Training Centre.This is part of the assessment process for the IPS Rubberfuse authorised contractors. Furthermore, field technical representatives are available to provide on-site assistance.

Certification Programme

Sintofoil membranes and IPS Rubberfuse systems have been tested to show compliance with UEAtc Directives and other standards for physical properties, seam strength,wind and fire resistance (for FR grade membranes). The listing of Approval and/or Testing Certification as obtained from the Authorities follows in this section.
